  От органичен произход (Био) Брашно от Пурпурна царевица Пурпурната царевица е култура растяща в долините на Андите. Местните я наричат maiz morado. Пупрпурната царевица е разпространена в Перу. Расте в крайбрежни области и в такива с висока надморска височина (до 10 000 фута). Има различни видове, но всички те са наследници на един и същ вид наречен Kculli.
