Nutmeg is actually the seed of an evergreen tree that grows in the so-called Spice Island. Strongly used in the traditional Arabic cuisine. Expressive bouquet of nutty, slightly sweet and warm taste. Rich in precious essential oils and sugars.

Directions for use:

Works well with black pepper, bay leaf, onion, parsley root. Nutmeg is an ideal seasoning for various dips, soups, sauces, vegetable dishes. In Indian cuisine it is used exclusively in sweets.


Consumed in high doses (10 g), nutmeg has a weak to medium strong hallucinogenic effect. Overdosing with nutmeg can induce visions and feeling of happiness.
