Small pieces of vegetable protein from peas and fava beans, can be used as a substitute for minced meat and are suitable for the whole family. Textured vegetable protein is suitable for both vegan and vegetarian dishes. It is used as an alternative to meat in popular dishes such as lasagna, spaghetti Bolognese and chili con carne. The small protein bites, resembling fine minced meat, are a suitable product for stuffed peppers, sauces and stuffed vine or cabbage leaves. They are dry and need soaking. With a neutral taste and a light pea aroma, they are versatile and easy to use. They absorb the aromas and flavours of the dish during its preparation. They can be soaked a day before cooking and retain their structure for several days. Without gluten. • No soy. • No additives. • Non-GMO.
How to prepare:
Soak 100 g protein chunks in 500 ml water for a minimum of 30 minutes. Drain in a colander for 5 minutes. Use in sauces, lasagna, spaghetti, burgers, moussaka, stuffed vine and cabbage leaves or stuffed peppers.
