Wholegrain flour from spelt variety Triticum coccum, grown in the Italian regions of Tuscany, Marche, Lombardy and Piedmont by the standards of organic farming. In its grinding, this flour goes through minimal processing and refinement, keeping intact most of the nutritional quality of the crop. Spelt flour has appetizing aroma and distinctive taste. Naturally low in gluten, spelt products are easily digested and absorbed by the body.
Directions for use:
For the preparation of various sweet or savory bakery recipes. It is recommended to use it in combination with other flours, due to its lower gluten content. Ideal for homemade pasta.
