Cupuacu is a tropical rainforest tree related to cocoa with the Latin name Theobroma Grandiflora. It is naturally grown in the jungles of Colombia, Bolivia, and Peru, as well as in the north of Brazil, with the largest production in Para, Amazonas. Because of his chocolate flavours, he is most commonly used in sweet recipes. It is quite close to the cocoa tree and has the ability to energise and refresh the body.
