Lavender is one of the most versatile and widely used plants, native to the mountainous Mediterranean (including Bulgaria). Our high quality Bulgarian Lavender essential oil has superior fragrance qualities, organic certificate and contains no alcohol or preservatives. The 100% pure organic lavender oil is made by steam distillation of the traditional lavender variety Sevtopolis. It is grown in the outskirts of the Sredna gora mountain, with specific geographic and climate conditions in the area. The plants are harvested at the beginning of June and the flowers are picked only on warm and windless days when there is a maximum quantity of oil in them. Lavender essential oil is extensively used in perfumery, aromatherapy, skincare and cosmetics, as well as for household purposes. In some cases it is a mild preservative.

Skincare/Cosmetic use:
moisturizing, nourishing, cleansing, stimulating, oily skin, aging skin, promotes hair growth
Perfumery:
top to middle note/ fresh, floral-herbaceous with balsamic-woody undertone.
Blends well with: Rose, Pine, Clary sage, Rosemary, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Ylang-Ylang, all citrus oils.
Directions for using essential oils:
For external use only. All essential oils must be diluted in a vegetable oil or other suitable base and then used on the skin. Pre-made test for sensitivity is recommended - apply the essential oil in the pit of the elbow and wait at least 12 hours for adverse reactions. Direct and intensive inhaling of essential oils is not recommended for longer than a period of 15-20 minutes. This does not apply to oils diffused through vapourisers or aroma lamps. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or are interested in the use of essential oils for children, it is recommended first to consult an aromatherapist. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
