Aluminium free. Use as a raising agent in the preparation of cakes, cookies and soda bread. Can be added to deodorants, masks and other homemade cosmetics or used as a substitute for household cleaners.
Recipe for soda bread:
2 cups einkorn flour
1 tsp baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
1 tsp Himalayan salt
1 tsp honey
1 1/3 cup soda water
Sift flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Mix the dry ingredients with honey and carbonated water, stirring with a wooden spoon. Shape dough into a ball and place in a pan with baking paper. Sprinkle with flour and place in a preheated oven at 220°C for 10 minutes. Then reduce temperature to 180°C and let it bake for 30 minutes.
Recipe for cream deodorant with baking soda:
3 Tbsp bicarbonate of soda
5 Tbsp coconut oil
2 Tbsp arrowroot powder
2 tsp carnauba wax
3 drops essential oil of sweet orange
2 drops essential oil of lavender
1 drops essential oil of peppermint
Melt the butter and wax in a double boiler. Add baking soda, arrowroot and essential oils and mix well. Pour the mixture into a suitable jar and apply to clean skin.
