Incan berries are from South America. They are also known as Cape Gooseberries, agauaymanto berries or Goldenberries. These dried berries taste sweet and has some sour lemon flavour. They are packed with nutrition! It has high content of vitamin P (bioflavinoids) and are rich in pectin. Researchers have found that bioflavinoids have a wide range of abilities. Incan berries are also rich in phosphorous, vitamins A, C, B1, B2, B6, and B12, and very rich in protein (16%).
You can eat Incan berries as it is, or add into desserts or smoothies.

Inka Berry Smoothie Recipe
Soak inka berries for at least one hour. Combine 1 cup soaked inka berries with 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen), 2 bananas (fresh or frozen), 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, and 1-2 cups rice milk or the water that you soaked the inka berries with in a strong blender and blend until smooth. The quantities listed here produce approximately 2 large servings.
