Pine nuts are the edible seeds of pines. They are also known as pine kernels. Pine nuts are frequently added to meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. Pine nuts are oily and rich in protein, so they tend to go rancid quite quickly; So please store them in the fridge and they'll keep longer. If you are allergic to nuts, it's a good idea to avoid pine nuts and other seeds, to be on the safe side, unless you already know you are not allergic to them.
